Lucy .. the Luckiest Dog Momma

You came into our world so unexpectedly and then became our whole world.
You were with us when we started dreaming of what we wanted our life to become and then got to be with us as our dreams came true. I’m so thankful to have been able to grow with you closely in tow. I’m so grateful you got to travel, experience big and small life events, help us find our forever home and welcome our two human babies.
When you get so much joy and love from a dog, naturally you want to get another one so thank you for Jackson. Without you we wouldn’t have known how special and meaningful life could be with a dog by our side.
I’ll miss your morning energy, your afternoon snuggles and my late night snacking buddy.
Benny–I’ll just miss everything about you and I’ll miss you every day. I’ll work to find comfort in the everyday things you enjoyed so much –like afternoon sun on the hill in our backyard, eating green beans, driving with the windows down, pounding Cheez-its, and strolling through the neighborhood … not wanting to walk, but not wanting the walk to end either.
That’s where I’m at now –not wanting to see you go, but also not wanting you to be in pain anymore either.
Run wild, be free and know I’ll always carry you with me.

Benny loved everything about life. He loved long walks but also loved an entire day of sleeping on the couch. He loved a sausage and cheese omelettes but would also go crazy for fresh green peppers and steamed green beans. He would bury his face in the snow until it crusted all over his body and would take a nap on the grass under the summer sun. He was always ready to do anything, he loved meeting new people, and was always the center of attention. Mornings were met with absolute energy and nights with cuddles and licks. I love Benny and I will miss him but he will always be my Beanie Baby.

My thoughts are with the Sorianos as they grieve Benny. He was a beautiful sweet little doggie giving so much love to his family.

You made me a grandma for the first time. You’re spunky, little energy and not letting anyone push you around . You were the life and the joy to everyone that got the opportunity to meet you.
Benny boo-boo, you just lit up a room and you love to meet people and let them know that you were there. I am so gonna miss sleeping with you when I come to visit The family. You were so small but yet you took up the whole queen size bed lol You are so gentle with your human brother and I know he was your world. I’m so excited you got to meet your human sister also and I know you were just so proud of them both.
You actually watched your mom and dad grow and watch their dreams come true. You taught them how to be parents so when the time came to be human parents they were ready.
Life is going to be different Without you, You left behind so many wonderful memories of dressing up on the holidays going in see Santa Claus your Halloween costumes and just enjoying life to the fullest.
I know your mom and dad mentioned about the walks that you loved and how you loved to greet all of the neighborhood people you were definitely one of a kind.
You love to travel, which is so amazing and I know you loved coming to grandma’s house because grandma found extra treats for you and your brother Jackson and guess what mom and dad never knew until you got home and got on the scale lol but it was vacation time so you get to indulge.
I will forever love and miss you my sweet Benny boo-boo thank you for being so awesome.

My fondest memories of Benny are coming for visits and squeezing him between my feet. Oh how he loved to be squished and squeezed.

I will never forget the first time I met Benny. He said hello with a wag and a sniff and big smile. I will never forget loving hearing all of Lucy’s stories about how she loved on you. My favorite time was when Lucy got Benny and Jackson Christmas letters from Santa! Benny, you were loved fiercely by your whole family. You will always be remembered by many.

Benny was such a sweet dog. I will miss him dearly . So glad he got to
Spend time at his vacation house in NC . He left us way too early. Cancer sucks. Benny was loved by so many . He will never be forgotten.

Benny boy! You were always such a good, loving boy. I’m going to miss when you would bite my nose while giving me kisses, uncle paul is going to miss having you nap with him and the other pups during holidays (you knew exactly where to go, you never wanted to leave when it was time to go, and we didn’t want you to leave either), tia emiliana is going to miss your kisses and sneaking you food, Cayleen is going to miss you beside her following her lead. I am so happy we had such an adorable funny spunky dog in our family, you were so loved. I know you left this earth knowing what unconditional love felt like, having so many great experiences, and making a difference in everyones life. I remember when they first brought you home, this tiny little energetic ball of white. You were the perfect addition. You were such a great brother to Jackson and your human siblings. You will forever be missed.

Benny boy! I remember when they first brought you home, you were this little cute energetic fluffy white as snow. I’m going to miss how you would run to me giving me kisses and biting my nose. Uncle Paul is going to miss you hanging with him in the garden and napping with him and the other pups during the holidays (you knew exactly where to go and when it was time to leave you didn’t want to go and we didn’t want you to either). Tia Emiliana is going to miss your big kisses and her sneaking you food. Cayleen is going to miss how you would just follow her lead running around. You were the best boy…to everyone who met you, to your brother Jackson who was always by your side, to your parents who gave you the best life and gave you such great experiences. We were so lucky to have you in our family. You will forever be missed.

I will never forget all of the little spritz you would do around the neighborhood when we would walk. Everyone every where had to know “Benny was here”. You will forever be the cutest little white pup. Your energy will live on forever.
