  1. To my best friend, Grace:
Never has there been a more loyal and loving companion. For 14 years you stood unwaveringly by my side. High-school graduation, college graduation, 7 houses, and a marriage; I had you every step of the way.

Truly the best of the best. My world will feel empty without you, but I know I always have you looking out for me. No words can truly express how much you meant, but I know that you are in a better place with all of the tennis balls you could ever want. This isn’t goodbye, just see you later.

I love you now and always

  2. Hey Gracie, you can pay attention to Freddy now. 2 ball hogs together now.

  3. Oh my sweet Gracie girl. Letting you go is the hardest decision we have ever had to make. We weren’t ready. But you let us know you were. We love you so much and will miss you every second of every day.

I really don’t have any words to describe how we are feeling or how to even begin to cover 14 years worth of love wrapped up in a soft, little yellow package. Everyone who has ever met this sweet girl has instantly been in love. She was the happiest little thing who only ever wanted to make people as happy as she was. I got to spend 8 of your 14 years with you and I cherish every single minute of it. You were one of a kind in every way. Your fetch skills were legendary. Your swimming was the goofiest. Your snuggles were the most obtrusive but the most appreciated. Your dreaming the….loudest. you just only ever wanted to give your love. You are so special. You will always hold a massive part of my heart in your tiny little paws. There is a hole in my heart where you are supposed to be.

I miss you so much already. I hope you’re living it up with your friends across the rainbow bridge, pain free and happy. I love you Best Girl, and I will forever. Ollie and Oak have got us covered, you’re off duty 💙

Thank you so, SO much Jason for making this heart breaking time just a little easier for us. We are very grateful.

  4. We will miss you chasing tennis balls! You sure loved them!

  5. Will miss you Grace. You made Christian and Katie so happy. Always sweet and lovable. .

  6. The first time I met Gracie, she firmly put me in my place as the second most important woman in Pierre’s life. She literally cried for nearly 30 mins upon seeing Zibi. (And if that’s how much she loved her sometimes roommate, you can imagine how much she adored Christian and Katie.)

Grace made you feel like the most important coolest person in the world the moment she greeted you. As long as some part of your body could nudge or throw a ball away from her, you were buds. She was the sweetest soul and we’ll miss her always.

Here’s to hoping she gets at least 157 years of straight fetch in doggie heaven.

  7. Gracie Girl thank you for always greeting me with the most amount of love. Made going to work better knowing I could see you. Going to miss the softest ears in the world. Hope you have all the tennis balls your heart desire. I’ll miss our weekends together Gracie

  8. Gracie Racie Baby was the smartest, the sweetest and by far, the most athletic dog. She came from a litter of all black labs and she was the ‘runt’ but was also the most beautiful. I am so lucky to have known her and to have know Christian and —and his wife later—take care of her and love her until the very end. My heart hurts as she is not here in this world but I know that I am a better animal owner and person for knowing her. She is with my father, my friend Ebony and my very dear kitty cat Sammy in another lovely life.

  9. Gracie girl: the softest, gentlest, most incredible creature to ever Grace us with her presence. We will miss her always ❤️

  10. Grace was an absolute queen of a dog! She was without a doubt one of the sweetest, most loving dogs… not to mention softest!!! She always had a way of welcoming you with a special dance thumping those back paws and twisting that tail! Ms Tornado tail! May she forever have her Beggin Stix in doggy heaven.

  11. The best cuddle buddy and could brighten the worst of days with a ball. Will always be remembered.

  12. Grace was maniacal in her love of life. Whether chasing a ball or fighting for your space on the sofa she gave everything she had. She was just a good-hearted friend who never once showed anything but love. The welcome party for her in doggie heaven will be huge…
